Villa Restaurant Group is seeking a dedicated Steam/Prep Cook to join our fast-paced kitchen. Prepare and steam items according to our standards and recipes while supporting the prep team.

You will follow food safety guidelines, assist with inventory, and help ensure high quality and timely service in a flexible schedule that includes evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Previous prep or steam cooking experience preferred.
• Ability to follow recipes and cooking instructions accurately.
• Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a busy kitchen.
• Good communication skills and ability to work well with others.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and steam food items according to company standards and recipes
• Assist with food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and portioning ingredients
• Ensure food is cooked to the highest standards of quality and taste
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies as needed
