Steam Control Systems Technician/Engineer. The GBS Group has an exciting opportunity for a Steam Control Systems Technician/Engineer to join our Philadelphia Office.
GBS Group designs and delivers high technology services and solutions to naval and maritime ships as well as special purpose platforms and assets. Our offices and labs are located at the Philadelphia Naval Business Center (PNBC). As a Steam Plant Technician with GBS, you will work both independently and with a team of designers and engineers on complex projects related to Naval ship platforms. The position will troubleshoot and assist ships forces in steam plant upgrades and troubleshooting control systems and auxiliary systems. You will troubleshoot control systems for both the main propulsion boilers and auxiliary control systems aboard various US Naval vessels. Direct training of ship personnel and support staff and life cycle support functions will be accomplished. This position will also contribute real value by assisting in the development of future HM&E Machinery Control Systems for U.S. Navy, Coast Guard, Army, and Military Sealift Ships.
Compensation is commensurate with experience and skill level.
