Job summary

Enact Holdings, Inc. in Raleigh, NC is seeking an Accounting Lead — Statutory Reporting to drive quarterly and annual regulatory filings and strengthen internal controls. You will partner with the Director of Financial Reporting and cross-functional teams to ensure accurate statutory disclosures.

The role requires CPA and 5+ years of accounting experience, with hands-on expertise in NAIC/regulatory reporting, close processes, and data integrity in a hybrid environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required.
• CPA certification is required.
• 5+ years of general accounting experience and strong regulatory reporting exposure.
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting software.
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead preparation and execution of quarterly and annual regulatory and statutory filings.
• Prepare, review, and analyze supplemental schedules for statutory/regulatory reporting.
• Oversee premium tax filings across states ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Manage monthly close components related to statutory reporting including journal entries.
• Strengthen internal controls over financial reporting and documentation of processes.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to compile data for statutory financial statements.
• Act as primary contact for external auditors and regulators on assigned areas.
• Collaborate with IT and stakeholders to improve data quality and reporting efficiency.
• Lead regulatory audits and assist with remediation efforts.
