Job summary

Curtiss-Wright EMD Cheswick is seeking a skilled Winder to lay out and wind complex stators and rotors at our Cheswick, PA facility. The role requires performing winding, prototype and repair work, coordinating operations and applying insulation and potting compounds as specified by drawings and procedures.

Ideal candidates will have at least five years of winding experience, strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of winding experience as a Winder.
• US citizenship and ability to obtain DoD clearance.
• Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Layout winding for stators and rotors and perform connections as required.
• Perform winding, prototype and repair winding tasks.
• Coordinate winding operations and apply potting/insulation per drawings.
• Review job instructions, tolerances and required information with supervision.
• Prepare tools, fixtures and related equipment; measure and document QA data.
• Maintain machine cleanliness and operate related programs as needed.
