Job summary

1 Resource Group is seeking a skilled Winder to join a reputable manufacturing company in the United States. The Winder will rewind, repair, and assemble electromagnetic components for industrial motors and generators, requiring precision and attention to detail.

Responsibilities include winding, testing, following blueprints, maintaining records, and ensuring safety standards. Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs and work various shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or technical/trade training.
• Ability to understand and follow safety procedures.
• Read and interpret job cards, blueprints, and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform coil winding, rewinding, and assembling of stator and rotor components.
• Inspect, test, and repair motor windings using specialized tools.
• Follow drawings and specifications for repairs and builds.
• Maintain accurate records of work and materials used.
• Adhere to quality and safety standards.
• Read job cards to determine scope and status.
• Wind AC, DC fields, armatures, and rotors.
• Operate bake ovens and cure varnish treatments.
• Keep work area clean and organized.
