In this hands-on role, you'll support the repair and winding of electromechanical equipment, with no prior experience required as training is provided. This position follows a 4-day on/4-day off schedule and includes performing electrical tests and installing motor lead connections. Job description

We are seeking a dedicated Electric Motor Winder to support the repair and winding of electromechanical equipment. This role involves hands-on work with stator windings, motor leads, and electrical testing. No prior experience is required—we provide on-the-job training and weekly classroom instruction to ensure success in the role.

This position follows a 4-days on / 4-days off shift schedule and is ideal for individuals who enjoy technical work, problem-solving, and being part of a high-performance team.

Responsibilities
  • Perform electrical testing of equipment
  • Carry out the burnout of stators and stripping of stator windings.
  • Clean and prep stator iron for rewinding.
  • Install random wound windings and form coil windings.
  • Complete stator connections and motor lead installations.
  • Conduct final electrical testing of repaired equipment.
  • Follow company safety protocols and quality standards.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Working knowledge of AC induction motors.
  • Ability to read and understand diagrams or schematics to meet custom winding specifications.
  • Electrical aptitude and basic knowledge of electrical systems.
  • Ability to operate or learn to operate warehouse forklifts and overhead cranes

  • Dependable — must show up on time and ready to work each day.
  • Must be able to pass a drug and physical test.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in industrial electrical work, electrical maintenance, instrumentation, electrical engineering or power management is a plus.
