Job summary

Pearson is seeking a Faculty Advisor for Mathematics and Statistics to join the North America Higher Education Customer Success team. The role focuses on aligning Pearson digital products with instructors’ learning objectives and student outcomes, with emphasis on statistics at the college level.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s in Statistics with at least five years of college teaching and expert knowledge of Pearson MyLab. Remote-friendly, requires some travel for trainings and conferences.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Statistics and at least 5 years of collegiate teaching experience in Statistics.
• Power-user experience with Pearson MyLab.
• Knowledge across Mathematics and Statistics; Data Science/Engineering desirable.
• Online teaching experience and LMS familiarity preferred.

Responsibilities

• Advise on integration of Pearson digital products to support teaching and learning goals.
• Consult on digital assessment, grading, and reporting strategies, especially with MyLab.
• Create training resources such as videos, guides, and live/recorded webinars.
• Collaborate with Product teams to advise on new platforms, tools, and features.
• Partner with Sales in campaigns, calls, meetings, and demonstrations.
• Use metrics and reporting to document recommendations and course-design evolution.
