Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a maintenance technician to support hospitals, clinics, and related facilities by keeping central plant equipment in peak condition. You will handle preventive and corrective maintenance, document activities, and respond to service requests with professionalism.

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent.
Experience with water treatment for heating and cooling systems.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask.
Willingness to travel 0–5% of the time.

Responsibilities

Maintain, operate, monitor, and repair utilities and related central plant equipment.
Respond to maintenance requests for hospitals, clinics, and supporting facilities.
Maintain the central plant in good, clean working condition.
Perform preventive maintenance and schedule and complete corrective maintenance.
Document all activities and maintenance.
Answer the phone properly and resolve requests using the proper work order form.
Monitor and operate power plant equipment by visually inspecting and adjusting equipment for maximum efficiency.
Troubleshoot engineering equipment and systems according to manufacturers' maintenance and operating parameters.
Operate, monitor, and maintain the Energy Management System by adjusting heating/cooling schedules to building loads.
Perform building rounds and equipment inspections; record round sheet data and report problems to the supervisor.
