Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support operation, inspection, and light maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems across assigned facilities.

You will assist the engineering team with repairs, perform general maintenance including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry, and manage CMMS work orders while keeping documentation accurate and up to date.

Qualifications

• Maintenance experience with HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry tasks.
• Experience using CMMS for work orders and documentation.
• Strong customer service skills and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Support operation, inspection, and light maintenance of mechanical, electrical and plumbing equipment and systems in assigned facilities.
• Assist the engineering team with maintenance and repair of buildings and equipment.
• Perform general maintenance including carpentry, HVAC, electrical, plumbing and/or painting.
• Complete assigned work orders in CMMS and maintain service documentation.
• Maintain tools, parts, equipment and supplies in clean and safe conditions.
• Work under the direction of Operating Engineers, Chief Engineers and others.

Job description

• Support operation, inspection, and light maintenance of mechanical, electrical and plumbing equipment and systems in assigned facilities
• Assist the engineering team with maintenance and repair of buildings and equipment
• Perform general maintenance including carpentry, HVAC, electrical, plumbing and/or painting
• Complete assigned work orders in CMMS and maintain service documentation
• Maintain tools, parts, equipment and supplies in clean and safe conditions
• Work under the direction of Operating Engineers, Chief Engineers and others
• Participate in technical, safety and operational process training programs
• Support on-call or emergency response situations, if applicable
• Complete other assigned projects and tasks

Requirements

• Related work experience, especially in repair, maintenance, HVAC, plumbing, electrical or carpentry
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Comfort using ladders up to 30 feet tall
• Ability to frequently climb, bend, kneel, lift and/or drive
• Strong customer service skills
• Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
• Trade school, union training, military service or college is desirable
