Job summary

Textron Specialized Vehicles Inc. is seeking a Station Manager for Reno to lead service operations.

You will direct service activities, manage performance against financial goals, and supervise payroll and staffing to ensure efficient daily operations. The role requires a Bachelor’s in Business or related field (or equivalent experience), extensive automotive/maintenance background, and knowledge of Diesel Engines, electrical systems, hydraulics, and generators.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field is required or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of relevant experience with degree or 8+ years automotive/maintenance experience without degree.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Valid driver's license and ability to obtain airport ID badge.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Diesel Engines, Electrical systems, Hydraulics, and Generators.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate all service activities to meet customer schedules and goals.
• Manage daily, weekly and monthly performance against established financial goals and metrics.
• Check and report on status of service and act to eliminate delays and parts shortages.
• Manage workforce headcount, schedules (time off requests, attendance), payroll, and employee relations.
• Manage accurate inventory levels and part tracking.
• Develop and implement continuous improvement opportunities and training needs.
• Drive root cause corrective action to improve safety, quality, delivery and cost.
• Ensure adequate supply of tools, equipment, and materials for operations.
• Assist with recommendations regarding workplace layouts, service methods and efficiencies to reduce costs.
• Foster talent development through career path planning, performance management, and onboarding of new hires.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business ore related field required OR years of experience in lieu of degree

Years of Experience: 5 or more years of relevant experience w/ degree OR 8 or more years of automotive/maintenance experience w/o degree

Software Knowledge: Microsoft Office Suite

Additional Requirements: Must possess a valid driver license and comply with TSV pool, fleet, and DOT policies

Must be able to obtain and maintain an airport issued ID badge

Demonstrated knowledge of Diesel Engines, Electrical systems, Hydraulics, and Generators
