Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Direct and coordinate all service activities to meet customer schedules.
  • Manage performance against established financial goals.
  • Check status of service and eliminate delays.
  • Manage workforce schedules, payroll, and employee relations.
  • Develop continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Develop and implement continuous improvement opportunities and employee training needs.
  • Drive root cause corrective action problem solving initiatives to improve safety, quality, delivery and cost.
  • Ensure adequate supply of tools, equipment, and materials for efficient location operations.
  • Assist with recommendations regarding workplace layouts, service methods and efficiencies by auditing operations to improve service flow and reduce costs.

Station Manager, BOS (Job Number: 332596)

Textron Specialized Vehicles Inc. is a leading global manufacturer of golf cars, utility and personal transportation vehicles, professional turf-care equipment, and ground support equipment. Textron Specialized Vehicles markets products under several different brands. Its vehicles are found in environments ranging from golf courses to factories, airports to planned communities, and theme parks to hunting preserves.

Responsibilities
  • Direct and coordinate all service activities to meet customer schedules and goals.
  • Manage daily, weekly, and monthly performance against established financial goals and metrics.
  • Check and report on the status of service and act to eliminate delays and parts shortages.
  • Manage workforce headcount, schedules (time off request, attendance), payroll, and employee relations (discipline).
  • Manage accurate inventory levels and part tracking.
  • Develop and implement continuous improvement opportunities and employee training needs.
  • Drive root cause corrective action problem solving initiatives to achieve improved safety, quality, delivery and cost.
  • Ensure adequate supply of tools, equipment, and materials for efficient location operations.
  • Assist with recommendations regarding workplace layouts, service methods and efficiencies by auditing operations to improve service flow and reduce costs.
Education/Experience and Skills
  • Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree and 2 or more years of experience required, OR in lieu of degree a HS Diploma/GED required and 8 or more years of automotive/maintenance experience required.
  • Software Knowledge: Microsoft Office Applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and comply with TSV pool, fleet, and DOT policies.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain an airport-issued ID badge.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Diesel Engines, Electrical systems, Hydraulics, and Generators.
