AECOM seeks an accomplished transportation leader to serve as Traffic Engineering Practice Lead for Tennessee. This role drives statewide practice growth, ensures technical excellence, and strengthens client relationships across TDOT, local governments, and private developers.

You will mentor a statewide team of traffic engineers, lead complex studies, ITS planning, and multimodal initiatives, and shape the firm’s strategic direction while delivering projects on time and within budget across

Formación

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 10 years of progressively responsible traffic engineering and transportation operations experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
• 5 years of project management and team leadership experience.
• Experience managing traffic engineering and ITS projects.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) preferred.
• Professional Traffic Operations Engineer (PTOE) certification preferred.
• Road Safety Professional (RSP) certification preferred.
• IMSA Traffic Signal certifications preferred.
• 15 years of traffic engineering and ITS experience preferred.
• Experience with TDOT projects preferred.
• Experience with municipal transportation programs preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the statewide Traffic Engineering Practice for Tennessee.
• Execute annual strategic growth plans.
• Identify emerging market opportunities and transportation trends.
• Serve as Principal-in-Charge for key transportation clients.
• Develop and maintain executive-level relationships with TDOT, local governments, planning organizations, and private development clients.
• Lead proposal development and project pursuit strategies.
• Coordinate with roadway, bridge, drainage, environmental, and planning disciplines.
• Ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and at the highest level of quality.
• Recruit, mentor, and develop transportation professionals.
• Foster innovation and technical excellence throughout the practice.
