Job summary

AECOM seeks an experienced traffic engineering professional to lead our IA/NE teams, overseeing planning, analysis, and PS&E development for transportation projects. You will recruit, mentor staff, manage client relationships, and coordinate with cross-disciplinary groups to deliver complex traffic solutions.

Responsibilities include leading ITS projects, proposing new business, and ensuring high-quality technical deliverables across planning, design, and construction phases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering or related field with 8+ years' experience.
• Master's degree and PTOE/PE license preferred.
• Experience with Iowa/Nebraska traffic projects and ITS preferred.
• Proven ability to develop proposals and market projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and build traffic engineering teams for IA/NE region.
• Manage projects, budgets, and client relationships.
• Coordinate with other discipline groups and sub-consultants.
• Prepare PS&E, technical memos, and deliverables.
• Provide technical leadership and quality control.
