Job summary

State of Maryland is seeking a Member Services Education Specialist to create and present benefit communications across seminars, webinars, newsletters, and other formats. You will coordinate statewide to promote access to the Supplemental Retirement Plans and related employee benefits.

The role involves education, information, and counseling for state employees, plus assisting in research and preparing reports for MSRP leadership and the MSRP Board of Trustees.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in economics, accounting, business or related financial field.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Create, organize, and present benefit communications across seminars, webinars, newsletters, and other materials.
• Coordinate information distribution through a statewide network of coordinators to promote access to the plans.
• Provide education, information, and counseling to State employees about the Supplemental Retirement Plans and other benefits.
• Assist in research, preparing reports, and education materials for MSRP leadership and the MSRP Board of Trustees.
