Job summary

Maryland State Employees Supplemental Retirement Plans, Baltimore, MD, is seeking an Education Specialist to develop and deliver benefit communications to State employees and retirees. You will organize seminars, webinars, newsletters, and other materials and coordinate education across a network of agency coordinators.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a financial field, three years of administrative experience in employee benefit programs with pension components, and the ability to

• Ability to create and present benefit communications across formats.
• Experience organizing training sessions and seminars.

Responsibilities

• Create, organize, and present benefit communications across seminars, webinars, newsletters, and other educational materials.
• Coordinate dissemination of information statewide through coordinators to promote plan access.
• Provide education, information, and counseling to state employees about retirement plans and other benefits.
• Assist in research, reports, studies, and education materials for MSRP senior management or the Board.
