Job summary

Office of the Comptroller (CTR) in Boston seeks a Statewide Payroll Specialist (Program Coordinator III) to ensure accurate and timely statewide payroll operations, ACA compliance, and data integrity. You will reconcile data, support ACA reporting, and work with departments to resolve payroll issues.

The role requires reviewing timekeeping data, testing TRCs, and documenting configurations to reflect policies and collective bargaining provisions in systems.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree or higher in business administration, management, accounting, or related field.
• Minimum of four years of professional, administrative, or managerial experience in program coordination or administration.
• Experience implementing or supporting ACA compliance and payroll processes.

Responsibilities

• Process and reconcile statewide payroll data in accordance with schedules and policies.
• Investigate payroll discrepancies prior to processing and respond to department questions.
• Lead ACA compliance tracking, reporting, and Forms 1094-C/1095-C preparation.
• Document testing scenarios for Time & Attendance/Time & Labor changes and support audits.
