Job summary

The Village South is seeking a Training and Development Manager in Doral, FL to design and implement training programs for case management staff, ensuring alignment with state and contractual requirements. The role focuses on improving staff performance, certification, and professional development.

The position oversees pre-service and in-service training, maintains accurate training records, and coordinates with internal and external partners to meet training goals and compliance standards.

Qualifications

• Certifications/Licensures: Certification as a Certified Case Manager preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in social work or related field with at least three years in human services or child welfare.
• Two years of supervised work experience in child welfare field.
• Bilingual is preferred.
• Valid Florida driver’s license (as required by the role).

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement training strategies to improve staff quality and retention.
• Collaborate with Quality Improvement to identify training gaps.
• Evaluate competencies of the child welfare workforce to plan interventions.
• Coordinate pre-service and in-service training and certification requirements.
• Maintain learning management systems and training records.
• Provide post-training coaching and mentoring to staff.
