Job summary

The State of Ohio, Department of Children and Youth, is seeking a Human Services Manager to provide statewide leadership over policy, training, and program monitoring for early care and education. This on-site role requires guiding counties and providers to ensure compliant delivery of services across Ohio.

You will supervise staff, manage communications, analyze data with state systems, and collaborate with government agencies, advocacy groups, and the public to strengthen service delivery

Qualifications

• 72 months of experience researching, developing, or implementing social or public policy.
• 12 months of delivery of human services in governmental or private sectors.
• Experience coordinating with counties, providers, and state agencies.

Responsibilities

• Lead statewide policy guidance to counties and providers for compliance.
• Oversee training and technical assistance for staff and providers.
• Develop standards and tools to support programs statewide.
• Analyze data with state systems and recommend improvements.
• Coordinate program monitoring and follow-ups for quality.
• Collaborate with county agencies, other state bodies, and the public.
• Manage communications for agency websites and portals.
• Supervise staff, set goals, and conduct evaluations.
• Attend meetings, prepare reports, and maintain records.
