Job summary

The Ohio Department of Children and Youth seeks a Program Administrator 3 to lead statewide anti-human trafficking efforts, guiding public children services agencies and partners.

You will develop policies, train staff, and coordinate interagency collaboration across safety, health and welfare systems, while ensuring timely responses to trafficking indicators.

Travel may be required; the role is on-site in Columbus, with competitive state benefits and a multi-year appointment.

Qualifications

• 5 yrs. trg. or 5 yrs. exp. in business administration, management or public administration.
• Or completion of undergraduate core program in business administration, management or public administration; 36 mos. trg. or exp.
• Or 1 yr. exp. as Program Administrator 2, 63123.

Responsibilities

• Provide statewide leadership and coordination for Ohio’s child-focused human trafficking initiatives.
• Balance policy development, interagency collaboration, technical assistance, training and urgent case consultation.
• Develop and implement statewide policies and procedures to strengthen child welfare responses to trafficked minors; enroll foreign national child victims into public benefits.
• Build partnerships with state and local agencies, courts and coalitions; liaison to the State Automated Child Welfare Information System.
