Job summary

Ohio Department of Children and Youth seeks a Human Services Developer to design high-quality training and coordinate statewide professional learning programs. The role ensures alignment with adult learning theory and state standards, and integrates across early learning program areas.

You will lead development, updates, and evaluation of courses, manage LMS tools, and collaborate with state trainers, vendors, and grantees to deliver impactful learning experiences for Ohio's early childhood

Qualifications

• Undergraduate core program in social or behavioral science, health services public administration, public policy management or comparable field.
• Graduate coursework in social/public policy or related field may substitute for experience.
• Minimum 12 months in research methodology, measurement & testing, ANOVA and survey sampling.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate state-sponsored professional learning courses, LMS, and registration systems.
• Lead instructional design for early childhood professional learning.
• Establish internal policies for stakeholder collaboration and education services.
• Develop data systems to document and evaluate professional learning experiences.
• Provide technical assistance to stakeholders and partners.
• Maintain records through the professional learning lifecycle.
• Support online and hybrid learning formats and monitor contracts and invoices.
