Job summary

Arizona Department of Forestry and Fire Management (DFFM) is seeking a Fleet Coordinator to plan, organize, direct, and control the operation of the DFFM fleet and equipment facility across the state. The role covers maintenance, service for vehicles and heavy equipment, and coordination with ADOT for emissions inspections and compliance.

The Fleet Coordinator will manage warranties, recalls, accidents, and expenditures, and ensure proper disposal of excess property.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to communicate clearly and effectively with staff and customers.
• Experience developing and improving maintenance management processes.
• Ability to analyze fleet data and generate actionable insights.
• Familiarity with vehicle service policies and maintenance practices.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, direct, and control the operation of the DFFM fleet and equipment facility.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance (PM) for state vehicles and equipment.
• Maintain inventory counts of statewide fleet and ensure proper disposal of excess equipment.
• Provide guidance on repairs, warranties, and policy compliance.
• Interact with management and customers on fleet-related issues.
• Oversee fleet assets in alignment with business and financial plans.
