Job summary

Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development is seeking a statewide asset data manager to oversee non-movable asset data within MMS. You will supervise district specialists and drive QA/QC, asset-type development, and system configuration across the organization.

The role requires experience with MMS, LaGov ERP Plant Maintenance, Agile Assets, and GIS, plus strong data governance and reporting abilities. Open to current permanent DOTD staff for promotion.

Qualifications

• Seven years of experience in transportation or related fields, or six years plus four years in related programs.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with four years of applicable experience.
• Advanced degree with three years of applicable experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage statewide asset data maintenance and supervise 9 district asset specialists.
• Lead development and implementation of new asset types in MMS including data requirements and security.
• Coordinate with HQ, districts, Agile Assets, GIS and stakeholders to support operations and budgeting.
• Develop data-collection tools, procedures, and training for consistent statewide inventory and auditing.
• Support MQA program and provide emergency/disaster support as needed.
