Job summary

State of Louisiana, through the Division of Administration's OSRAP, seeks a professional to support the statewide vendor program in Baton Rouge. The role focuses on maintaining the vendor master file, EFT enrollment, and resolving payment issues while ensuring compliance with policies and standards.

You will review complex accounting transactions, assist agencies, and support annual financial close efforts. A relevant degree and substantial accounting experience are required for this position.

Qualifications

• Six years of accounting, auditing, financial operations, payroll, or banking experience.
• Combination of education and experience per state guidelines for accounting roles.
• Familiarity with IRS 1099 reporting and EFT processes.
• Experience reviewing and approving system accounting entries submitted by agencies.

Responsibilities

• Maintain statewide vendor master file and activate new vendors.
• Process EFT enrollment requests and vendor payments.
• Review and approve system accounting entries submitted by agencies.
• Resolve complex vendor, customer, and agency inquiries.
• Develop automated reports analyzing vendor and customer data.
