Job summary

The Louisiana Division of Administration/Office of Statewide Reporting and Accounting Policy (OSRAP) seeks a qualified analyst to maintain the statewide vendor master file, activate vendors, process EFT enrollment, and resolve complex vendor and payment issues. You will review accounting entries and assist with audits and close procedures.

This role requires extensive accounting experience and knowledge of state policies, with opportunities to contribute to policy development and system

Qualifications

• Six years of experience in accounting, auditing, financial operations, payroll, or banking; OR
• Bachelor’s degree with 24 semester hours in accounting plus three years in accounting, auditing, etc.; OR
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance/business/management/economics/statistics plus three years in accounting/auditing/financial operations/payroll/banking; OR
• Advanced degree with two years in accounting/auditing/financial operations/payroll/banking; OR
• CPA license plus one year of experience; OR
• Experience substitution: 30 semester hours equals one year of experience; max substitution 120 semester hours (4 years).

Responsibilities

• Maintain statewide vendor master file and activate vendors for state agencies.
• Process EFT enrollment requests from vendors and assist with payment issues.
• Review and approve system accounting entries submitted by agencies.
• Develop automated reports analyzing vendor and customer data for internal use.
• Monitor compliance with LLA non-compliance listing requirements and manage vendor blocking.
• Assist with year-end close procedures and related financial processes.
• Provide OSRAP help desk support for complex accounting and vendor issues.
