The role collaborates with agencies and vendors to resolve post-award issues, monitors contract performance, and works with analytics staff for forecasting, ensuring compliant, cost-effective procurement for state programs.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience in procurement, contracts or grants management, financial management, accounting, or auditing.
• Six years of full-time work experience in any field.
• A bachelor’s degree.

Responsibilities

• Develop, award, and manage statewide contracts for commodities and services.
• Monitor, evaluate, and forecast economic and market conditions related to contracts.
• Audit bids to ensure compliance with purchasing rules and regulations.
• Assist agencies with LaGov ERP enrollment, solicitations, and UNSPSC code selections.
• Organize and conduct pre-bid conferences and bidder input sessions.
• Provide regulatory supervision and guidance on procurement laws, policies, and procedures.
• Train agency personnel in problem resolution concerning contracts.
