Job summary

Aventura at Shiloh Springs in Stringtown, OH is seeking State Tested Nursing Assistants (STNAs) to provide compassionate care with dignity. You will assist residents with daily living activities, monitor vital signs, and report changes to the nursing team.

This role supports a team-focused environment with comprehensive benefits and flexible shifts. Walk-in interviews are welcomed on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid CNA certification in the state of employment.
• Current CPR certification or willingness to obtain upon hire.
• Ability to follow directions and communicate effectively with residents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
• Take and record vital signs as directed.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and use of assistive devices.
• Observe and report changes in residents’ condition to nursing staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist residents with ADLs such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
• Take and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure) as directed.
• Assist residents with mobility, positioning, transfers, and use of assistive devices.
• Observe and report changes in residents’ physical or emotional condition to nursing staff.
• Answer call lights promptly and provide needed assistance.
• Help residents with meals, including tray setup and feeding assistance.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided.
• Keep resident rooms clean, organized, and safe.
• Provide respectful, compassionate care in accordance with resident care plans.
• Follow facility policies, state regulations, and infection control protocols.
• Participate in in-service training and continuing education as required.

Qualifications:

• Valid CNA certification in the state of employment
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 2-3 Years of experience in long-term care or assisted living.
• Ability to follow directions and communicate effectively with residents and staff.
• Compassionate, dependable, and patient-focused.
• Physical ability to lift, move, and assist residents and perform job-related tasks.
• Current CPR certification (or willing to obtain upon hire).
