Job Description

Pay: $13.00 per hour

Are you customer-focused, hardworking, a team player, and dependable? If yes, we want you!

Assist with breakfast, lunch, and/or dinner service at The State Room Restaurant inside the Kellogg Hotel & Conference Center:

• Greeting, seating, and escorting guests
• Taking dining reservations
• Assisting customers requiring extra attention (children, elderly)
• Cleaning and maintaining the restaurant's appearance
• Assisting wait staff as needed
• Resetting tables for next customers
• Providing exceptional customer service
• Restocking buffet

Required Qualifications

• Work at least 15 hours/week, including evenings and weekends during Spring 2025, with the ability to work through Summer 2025
• Commitment to delivering outstanding guest service
• Availability for MSU graduation weekends, football & basketball home game days, minimum of 2-3 shifts a week, Monday-Saturday, days, evenings, weekends
• Sample shifts: 6:30am-10:30am or 10am-3pm weekdays, 3:30pm-10pm Tuesday-Saturday
• Previous restaurant or customer service experience desired

Preferred Qualifications

Previous restaurant or food service experience is preferred.
