Job summary

Oklahoma Department of Libraries seeks a Government Records Officer to provide professional records management for the State Records Management program. You will manage intake, storage, and retrieval of records at the State Records Center and coordinate transfers to the State Archives.

Responsibilities include policy development, retention scheduling, and inquiries from state agencies, with travel between facilities required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of records management experience.
  • CRM certification with 2+ years of records management experience.
  • Six years of records management experience.
  • Familiarity with records management policies and retention schedules.

Responsibilities

  • Process and monitor intake, maintenance, and retrieval of state records at the State Records Center.
  • Coordinate transfer of records to the State Records Center and State Archives.
  • Respond to records management inquiries from state agencies.
  • Maintain relationships with state agencies to ensure retention schedules reflect standards.
  • Assist in developing, implementing, and reviewing records management policies and manuals.
  • Participate in development and maintenance of retention and disposition schedules.
