Idaho Department of Parks and Recreation is seeking an Office Specialist 2 at Priest Lake State Park. The role rewards strong organizational skills, customer service, and operational support to ensure smooth park operations.

You will supervise seasonal staff, handle administrative tasks, billing, and store operations, while engaging with visitors and vendors to maintain a welcoming park experience.

Qualifications

• Good knowledge of business English usage, spelling, punctuation, and grammar.
• Experience with filing systems, document review for compliance, and basic computer data entry.
• Experience handling cash, cashiering, and basic math skills.
• Some knowledge of supervision and coordinating staff or volunteers.

Responsibilities

• Administrative and Operational Support: provide office support and process documents per IDPR procedures.
• Financial, Purchasing, and Retail Support: handle revenue, purchasing, and retail records; assist with merchandise.
• Seasonal Staff and Volunteer Support: supervise seasonal staff; assist with hiring, scheduling, training and evaluation.
• Visitor Services: provide information and resolve routine questions; support park reservations and activities.
• General Park Support: follow policies, report safety or operational concerns, assist with park operations.
