Job summary

Revolution Field Strategies (RFS) is seeking a State Operations Director to oversee canvassing, voter registration, and relational organizing projects nationwide. The role reports to the Project Director and is an in-person assignment across multiple locations.

This full-time position requires 40+ hours per week, with peak periods reaching 70+ hours. RFS offers comprehensive health care, dental, and vision benefits and covers travel, lodging, and related expenses.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of management, operations or administrative experience.
• Demonstrated ability to manage a growing and complex organization’s operational needs.
• Exceptional time management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
• Highly detail-oriented and able to manage multiple processes simultaneously.
• Ability and willingness to work a demanding schedule, which can reach 70+ hours per week at peak times and may include evenings and weekends.
• Must possess a cell phone and laptop.
• Must have access to personal transportation and provide proof of driver’s insurance.
• Must be able to travel and relocate to project locations across the country on short notice; travel, lodging, and other related expenses are provided by RFS.
• Familiarity with Google Suite, ATS, and HRIS software is preferred

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily and long-term project operations needs, often including multiple offices located throughout a region or state.
• Manage a team of regional, in-office Operations Associates.
• Work with the Project Director and the National Operations team to implement and maintain robust human resources and operations processes for the program.
• Work with the National Operations team to manage project-specific payroll records for all employees through the Paycom platform.
• Ensure an efficient allocation of supplies and resources throughout the program.
