Job summary

Revolution Field Strategies (RFS) is seeking a State Operations Director to oversee canvassing, voter registration, and relational organizing operations nationwide. This in-person role reports to the Project Director and requires managing cross-regional programs with travel across project sites.

The position is full-time, exempt, with a 40+ hour workweek and potential peak times reaching 70+ hours. RFS offers comprehensive health, dental, and vision benefits and coverage for travel expenses.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of management, operations or administrative experience.
• Demonstrated ability to successfully manage a growing and complex organization's operational needs.
• Exceptional time management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
• Highly detail-oriented and able to manage multiple processes simultaneously.
• Ability to think and act creatively and flexibly in a fast-paced and sometimes high-pressure environment.
• Must be able to travel and relocate to project locations across the country on short notice; travel, lodging, and other related expenses are provided by RFS.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily and long-term project operations needs, often including multiple offices located throughout a region or state
• Manage a team of regional, in-office Operations Associates
• Work with the Project Director and the National Operations team to implement and maintain robust human resources and operations processes for the program
• Work with the National Operations team to manage project-specific payroll records for all employees through the Paycom platform
• Ensure an efficient allocation of supplies and resources throughout the program
• Other duties as assigned
