Liberty Mutual Insurance is seeking a Senior State Pricing and Underwriting lead to drive profitability and growth across designated states. You will guide pricing and underwriting strategies, coordinate with Product, Distribution, Claims and Marketing to align with regulatory expectations and market conditions.

High emphasis on data-driven decision making and stakeholder collaboration. Qualified candidates have an MBA, strong quantitative skills, and 8–10+ years managing a state-level business

Formación

• MBA or appropriate experience.
• Highly developed quantitative analysis and decision making.
• Excellent written and oral communication, analytical, influencing and leadership skills.
• 8 to 10+ years progressively responsible work experience in managing a state’s business plan or related functions.

Responsabilidades

• Establishes objectives for the state(s) in terms of growth and profitability.
• Develops, reviews, and implements strategies through the integration of the sales, service, underwriting, pricing and claims functions.
• Collaborates within Product and other functional departments to maximize effectiveness of programs while maintaining compliance.
• Monitors the market place and identifies competitor and industry changes impacting programs.
• Monitors catastrophe exposure in the state(s) and develops strategies to manage exposure.
• Examines data and implements changes in pricing, underwriting standards, sales growth, and claims handling.
• Manages relationships with regulatory agencies and industry organizations; represents the company at meetings and committees.
• Works with distribution channels to develop new business volume and monitor quality of sales results.
• Partners with Global Compliance during Market Conduct Exams.
