MDS Staffing represents a progressive regional CPA firm seeking an Audit Director specializing in state and local government. This role offers a fast track to partnership, a hybrid work environment, and relocation assistance.

The Director mentors staff, manages multiple engagements, maintains client relationships, and leads business development while ensuring adherence to GAGAS/Yellow Book standards. Travel to client sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Approximately 10 years' experience in public accounting with government focus.
• Minimum 2 years in a senior manager role.
• CPA licensed and able to travel to client sites.
• Experience with GAGAS/Yellow Book and GAAS.
• Proven ability to generate new business.

Responsabilités

• Lead engagements and oversee audit teams across government clients.
• Serve as liaison between partners, clients, and staff.
• Develop staff and participate in business development.
• Ensure on-time delivery and compliance with firm policies.
