Progressive regonal CPA firm is seeking an Audit Manager with a State and Local Government specialization for a fast track to Director/Partnership. Hybrid work environment and relocation assistance are available.

The Manager will supervise audits, manage client relationships, and aid staff development while coordinating multiple engagements. Responsibilities include budgeting, supervising staff, and contributing to business development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• At least five years of experience in public accounting—specifically in the public sector including auditing state and local governments.
• Holds a current and valid CPA license.

Responsabilités

• Manage all phases of audits or reviews on multiple engagements.
• Maintain client relationships and communicate with Directors/Partners.
• Lead, train and supervise staff and seniors; assist with staffing and budgets.
• Coordinate engagement workflow and ensure adherence to budgets and firm standards.
• Contribute to business development and client service excellence.
