Job summary

Jabil is launching a new Prince George, VA factory to startup large form-factor equipment on-site. You will lead production operations, supervise and develop teams, and drive safety, quality, and throughput while coordinating with engineering, quality, and maintenance.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s in engineering and 3+ years of manufacturing leadership, with Lean, Six Sigma, and problem-solving skills to sustain continuous improvement in a high-volume environment.

• Strong leadership, coaching, and employee development skills.
• Understanding of Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, and problem-solving methodologies.
• Ability to analyze production metrics and drive actions that improve performance.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence across multiple levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day production operations to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and productivity objectives.
• Supervise, coach, and develop production team members to maximize performance and engagement.
• Monitor and manage production schedules, labor utilization, and operational metrics.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency, quality, and throughput.
• Partner with Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and other cross-functional teams to resolve issues and support business objectives.
