Job summary

Jabil is seeking a Quality Engineer to support startup manufacturing of large form‑factor equipment at the Prince George, VA site. You will act as a key quality representative, driving process improvements, implementing quality controls, and resolving issues with customers and suppliers.

You will develop quality documentation, support NPI, and collaborate across Manufacturing, Engineering, and Supply Chain to ensure ISO 9001 compliance and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field.
• 3+ years of Quality Engineering in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with quality improvement initiatives and CAPA processes.
• Experience with electrical, electro-mechanical, or industrial manufacturing processes preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain quality plans, inspection plans, control plans, PFMEAs, and process documentation.
• Drive root cause analysis, corrective actions, and preventive actions for quality issues.
• Analyze data, defect trends, and process performance metrics to identify improvements.
• Interface with Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Quality teams to improve product quality.
