Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Startup Operations team member who will serve as a setup consultant for new Dedicated Transportation Solutions startups and ongoing field support.

The role demands high travel (75–80%) across the country and quick decision-making during startup phases, including driver/manager training and process documentation. You will build process flows, test systems, and provide design-level consulting for new product features, while prioritizing tasks and maintaining

Qualifications

• H.S. diploma/GED required.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain preferred.
• Two years+ relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, warehouse or related field.
• One year+ direct supervisory/leadership experience.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access) is required.
• Logistics industry knowledge advanced.
• Knowledge of local and Federal regulations advanced.
• Core knowledge of Supply Chain Management components intermediate.
• Strong knowledge of Manufacturing and Production advanced.

Responsibilities

• Startup team focused on flawless execution and adherence to customer CSFs.
• Ensure drivers and managers understand core operations and systems for tracking.
• Act as an arm of management to answer questions and make quick startup decisions.
• Train new management team and Certified Driver Trainer group.
• Build out process flow and provide guidance on consistency of operations.
