Job summary

DHL Supply Chain seeks an Implementation General Manager to lead startup operations, delivering strategic and operational leadership from contract award through ramp-up to a fully operational environment. This role carries full P&L ownership and requires strong customer-facing capabilities to build trusted partnerships throughout implementation and ongoing operations.

The candidate will manage cross-functional teams, deploy Tier 1 WMS solutions, travel about 80%, and drive on-time, within-budget

Qualifications

• General Manager or Senior Operations Manager with full P&L ownership.
• Proven full P&L management with financial accountability.
• Experience building site culture and high-performing teams.
• Experience with Tier 1 WMS (Blue Yonder, Manhattan) or comparable systems.
• Strong customer-facing skills and ability to travel ~80%.

Responsibilities

• Own implementation success from contract through ramp-up and KPI stabilization.
• Lead cross-functional teams (Engineering, Finance, IT, HR, Operations) and manage customer relationships.
• Develop and execute comprehensive implementation plans with milestones and risks.
• Develop site startup staffing, onboarding and training plans for launch and ramp-up.
• Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, safety, and efficiency.
• Utilize WMS and technology to track inventory and drive improvements.
• Present Monthly/Quarterly Business Reviews to customers and manage P&L influence.
