Topo Advisors is seeking a Controller to deliver high‑quality accounting support to venture‑backed startups. You will partner with CEOs and leadership teams, owning monthly close, technical accounting, and internal controls in a fast‑moving environment.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in accounting or finance, strong Excel and QuickBooks skills, and experience leading inventory accounting. CPA preferred, and you will grow into a strategic advisor to clients.

Formación

• 8+ years in public accounting, corporate accounting or finance.
• CPA strongly preferred for leadership in a growth company.
• Significant experience leading accounting for inventory-heavy operations (CPG preferred).
• Proficiency with spreadsheet software and QuickBooks.

Responsabilidades

• Manage monthly financial close and general accounting activities for clients.
• Manage relationships with external auditors and tax advisors to ensure timely deliverables.
• Coordinate and supervise Topo team members to support engagements.
• Support budgeting and planning with monthly forecasts and cash flow projections.
• Provide leadership on technical accounting questions and updates for clients.
• Assess internal controls and implement process improvements.
