Job summary

Topo Advisors is hiring for an Assistant Controller to provide world-class accounting support to high-growth venture-backed companies. This role offers remote work in states where the company operates, with Indianapolis, Indiana as the headquarters.

You'll be a hands-on partner to CEOs and leadership teams, overseeing monthly close, budgeting, and forecasting while guiding engagements and technical accounting decisions.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in public accounting, corporate accounting or finance.
• CPA strongly preferred.
• Excellent quantitative skills with Excel and QuickBooks experience.
• Ability to embrace ambiguity and changing business landscapes.

Responsibilities

• Manage monthly close and general accounting activities for clients.
• Manage relationships with external auditors and tax advisors.
• Oversee Topo team members to support engagement execution.
• Support budgeting and monthly forecasts, including cash flow projections.
• Provide leadership on technical accounting questions and updates.
