Job summary

Daybreak Foods, Inc. is seeking a Processing Line Worker in our eggs processing facility. Under the supervision of the Processing Supervisor, you will perform essential egg processing tasks to maintain quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities include grading eggs, transferring eggs between conveyors, maintaining wash operations, and adhering to USDA requirements. The role supports breaks and end-of-shift cleanup to ensure continuous production.

Qualifications

• Experience in Food Manufacturing or Processing desirable.
• Knowledge of safety programs and Hazcom (Hazard Communication) requirements.

Responsibilities

• Grades and aligns eggs entering the washer section.
• Ensures smooth transfer of eggs from main belt to accumulating station.
• Keeps area clean; dumps inedible into auger.
• Performs chemical checks, controls foam in washers, re-washes eggs as needed.
• Grades eggs from washers per SOP.
• Facilitates transfer from transfer room to breaking machine.
• Assists during breaks and cleanup.
• Grades broken eggs and removes bad eggs and shells from cups.
• Performs cleanup duties meeting USDA standards after production shift.
