Job summary

Daybreak Foods is seeking a Processing Line Worker in an egg processing facility. Under the direction of the Processing Supervisor, you will perform tasks to ensure the highest quality product possible, including adherence to safety and GMP standards.

Responsibilities include HACCP/SQF/compliance, grading eggs, transferring and breaking eggs, and maintaining clean, safe work areas. USDA standards apply in shell and transfer areas, with shifts ending after production.

Qualifications

• Experience in food manufacturing or processing is desirable.
• Knowledge of safety programs and processes such as Confined Space, LOTO, HazCom.

Responsibilities

• Maintain HACCP, SQF, cGMP compliance and regulatory protocols.
• Grade and route eggs through washer, transfer, and breaking stages.
• Keep work areas clean; manage inedible materials and waste.
• Perform chemical checks and maintain foam control in washers.
• Assist during breaks and clean up after production shifts.
• Meet USDA standards in breaking, transfer, and shell rooms.
