Job summary

TDIndustries, Inc. seeks a Start-Up Technician to perform start-up, testing, and functionality checks on newly installed commercial HVAC systems. You will verify operation according to design specs and project requirements, while collaborating with subcontractors to ensure proper performance.

Qualifications

• EPA Certification required.
• OSHA 10 and CPR/First Aid preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Knowledge of NEC, Plumbing, Fire and Building codes preferred.
• Self-managed with coaching and mentoring skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs start-up and functionality checks on newly installed HVAC systems.
• Interprets drawings and identifies errors/omissions.
• Ensures equipment installation complies with codes and specifications.
• Trains and mentors Start-Up Technicians with less experience.
• Maintains status reports on work completed.
