Job summary

B&I Contractors, Inc., Florida’s premier MEP contractor, seeks an HVAC Start Up and Warranty Technician to join our expanding team. Troubleshoot, service, and repair HVAC and mechanical equipment, including duct, DX piping, chilled water piping, and building automation systems.

We require at least 2 years of field experience, a two-year technical degree preferred, EPA and OSHA 10 certifications, and a strong commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of field experience with quality workmanship.
• Two-year technical college degree or equivalent preferred.
• EPA and OSHA 10 certification required.
• Must follow safety, quality, and customer satisfaction standards.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, service and repair HVAC and related mechanical equipment.
• Install and service duct systems, DX piping, chilled water piping systems, and building automation systems.
• Communicate clearly with office and customers about issues, repairs, and project timelines.
• Perform all tasks with precision, adhering to safety and quality standards.
• Stay up to date with new technologies as they emerge.
