B&I Contractors, Inc. is seeking an experienced HVAC Start Up and Warranty Technician to join Florida’s fastest growing MEP contracting team.

The role involves troubleshooting, servicing, and repairing HVAC equipment, working on duct systems, DX piping, chilled water, and building automation, with a strong emphasis on safety and quality. The ideal candidate has two years of field HVAC experience and EPA/OSHA 10 certifications.

Qualifications

• Two years of field experience in HVAC preferred.
• EPA and OSHA 10 certifications required.
• Commitment to safety, quality and customer satisfaction.
• Ability to work well in a team or independently.
• Spanish-speaking applicants welcome.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, service, and repair HVAC equipment with accurate diagnostics of refrigeration and electronics.
• Install and service duct systems, DX piping, chilled water piping, thermal storage, and building automation systems.
• Communicate issues and required repairs clearly to the office and customers.
• Perform tasks with adherence to safety and quality standards.
• Stay up-to-date with new technologies as they emerge.
