Job summary

RHA Health Services, LLC is seeking a START Coordinator for Brunswick County, NC and surrounding areas. This full-time role delivers community-based intervention and prevention services for individuals with developmental disabilities and behavioral health needs.

A bachelor’s degree in social work or related field is required, with a master’s degree a plus; minimum 2 years of experience and credentials such as QDDP/QMHP are needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, social services, human services or special education required; Master’s degree a plus
• Minimum 2 years experience with intellectual/developmental disabilities; 1 year if Master’s degree
• Must meet requirements for QDDP and QMHP; direct support experience with mental health and developmental disability
• Must have valid driver’s license; CPR, first aid, NCI certification and related trainings
• Willingness and ability to travel and complete background checks and credentialing

Responsibilities

• Develops and revises cross systems crisis plans in a timely fashion
• Monitors the implementation of the plan
• Performs case management linking and referrals
• Provides families and stakeholders with training on population needs
• Provides consultation on clinical needs of individuals’ care
