Job summary

RHA Health Services, LLC seeks a START Coordinator to support individuals with developmental disabilities and mental health needs in Greenville, NC and surrounding areas. You will develop and revise cross-systems crisis plans, coordinate services, and train families and stakeholders in essential knowledge and skills for targeted populations.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Social Services, Human Services or Special Education, with a Master’s degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Social Services, Human Services or Special Education required.
• Master’s degree a plus.
• Minimum 2 years experience working with persons with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities required; 1-year experience if paired with Master’s degree.
• Must meet requirements for both Qualified Developmental Disability Professional and Qualified Mental Health Professional.
• Must have direct support experience supporting individuals with mental health and developmental disability diagnoses.
• Must have experience with crisis management and crisis counseling.
• Valid driver’s license; CPR, first aid, NCI certification and other company-required trainings.

Responsibilities

• Develops and revises the cross systems crisis plans in a timely fashion.
• Monitors the implementation of the plan.
• Performs Case Management functions of linking and arranging for services and referrals.
• Provides families and stakeholders with training on knowledge, skills, and abilities required by the population served.
• Provides consultation to the system on the clinical needs of the individual's care.
• Collaborates with START team and supports after-hour contacts and meetings.

The program relies on integrated care and treatment with collaboration among all team members.
