Job summary

RHA Health Services, LLC in Greenville, NC is hiring a START Coordinator (BH) to support individuals with developmental disabilities and mental health challenges through the START program, providing community-based intervention and prevention services.

The role includes crisis planning, plan implementation monitoring, and case management with family training. A Bachelor's in a related field is required; 2+ years of relevant experience, travel, and valid credentials are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Social Services, Human Services or Special Education.
• Master’s degree is a plus.
• Minimum 2 years experience with persons with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities.
• 1-year experience if paired with Master’s degree.
• Must meet requirements for both Qualified Developmental Disability Professional and Qualified Mental Health Professional.
• Direct support experience supporting individuals with mental health and developmental disability diagnoses.
• Experience with crisis management and crisis counseling.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Develop and revise cross-systems crisis plans in a timely fashion.
• Monitor the implementation of the plan.
• Perform case management linking and referrals.
• Provide families and stakeholders with training on needed skills.
• Provide consultation on clinical needs of individuals’ care.
