Job summary

SpaceX seeks a Lead Development Test Technician (Starship Structural Test) on 1st shift to lead a small team in testing operations, assign work by priorities, and uphold safety and workmanship standards.

You will function as liaison between employees and management, coach team members, and ensure procedures are followed while supporting GSE/testing hardware development and troubleshooting high-pressure systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency required or equivalent
• Experience in industrial settings with piping, high-pressure systems, or related components
• Preferred: associate degree and aerospace or high-reliability environment experience

Responsibilities

• Lead a small team in testing operations, assign priorities, enforce safety/workmanship standards, and clear blockers
• Act as liaison between employees and management for problem solving
• Coach, mentor, and train team members to maintain performance
• Read and interpret planning documents, schematics, drawings, and manuals
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair equipment and instrumentation including pneumatic/hydraulic systems
• Collaborate with design engineers to document GSE/testing activities
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and SpaceX procedures
