Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Development Test Engineer for the Starship Structural Test team in Starbase, Texas. This role involves developing and executing structural tests for the Starship, working closely with engineering teams, and ensuring all systems function optimally.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in engineering and at least a year of relevant experience. Responsibilities include designing, modifying, and troubleshooting mechanical and fluid systems, as well as overseeing test execution with a team.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience with testing, data acquisition, and control system design.
• Experience with hazardous systems is a plus.
• Ability to work in tight quarters and under physical constraints.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute static and dynamic system-level structural tests.
• Design and troubleshoot mechanical and fluid systems.
• Maintain test procedures and documentation.
